Every Tour Scotland vacation is unique and starts from a blank page which we will help you fill in. Here are some examples to help you choose a vacation for you and your family. Please Note, due to the variable weather conditions in scotland the itinerary may be adjusted to suit. Below is an example of a 7 day tour.

Tour Scotland itinerary

Day 1

Your Tour Scotland vacation starts when the tour director and driver collects your party at Glasgow International Airport (Time to be arranged.) We will head from there to the quaint little village called Queensferry nestled underneath the two spectacular Forth Bridges. We have time here for a coffee break and photo opportunities. We then head of to Dunfermline where we will visit one of the most important Abbey's in Scotland, where most of the Scottish King's and Queen's were crowned and was also the resting place of the great Scottish hero Robert the Bruce. After a short lunch next to the Abbey we head off on the road to Perth, where we then take the road to one of Scotland's most famous town's called Pitlochry which is reputed to be the center of Scotland. Here we can have some afternoon tea and do some shopping before we head off up into the Highlands for our first overnight stop at our Highland hotel.

Day 2

After a full Scottish breakfast, we will have a relaxing day, visiting most of the local attractions in this area i.e. Dunkeld once the religious capital of Scotland and also Edradour the smallest distillery in Scotland. We will also visit Kinloch Rannoch and the Famous Queen's View reputed to be the finest in Scotland and before returning to the hotel for the evening meal we will visit the heart of Scotland, a place called Fortingall where the oldest living yew tree still stands and is over 3,000 years old.

Day 3

After a hearty Scottish Breakfast we head north on our Tour Scotland to the Highland capital of Inverness passing Kingussie, and stopping at Aviemore the Skiing capital of Scotland for a coffee break and then on to the famous city of Inverness. Here we will visit numerous attractions, such as the Culloden battlefield and the clava cairns. From there we will travel on to the spectacular Wester Ross area and our two night stay on the Isle of Skye or the village of the Kyle of Lochalsh.

Day 4

Today we do a full tour of the Isle of Skye, visiting places of interest and spectacular scenery along the way. We will also visit the Island capital of Portree.

Day 5

Today we leave The Isle of Skye and make our way to Fort Augustus and view Loch Ness and (maybe the monster) and we will also see the Caledonian Canal. We continue South, passing Fort William and on to Glencoe, where we will visit the Glencoe visitor centre for some Scottish history and culture. During this time you will observe Britains highest mountain called Ben Nevis if the clouds are high enough. We continue South heading for perhaps Scotland's best kept secret to the area of Argyll and Bute, with rugged mountains and scenic lochs, and passing along the way the Bonnie Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond, immortalised in song and verse, about the Queen of Scottish lochs. Here to is the home of Scotland's First National Park. The seasons may change, but the areas beauty is constant all year, and your hardest decision is not whether to come, but when. We will be staying in the town of Dunoon for two nights.

Day 6

After a full Scottish breakfast we take the ferry from Dunoon and cross the famous River Clyde and make our way to the county of Ayrshire and visit Culzean Castle, also Rabbie Burns Heritage Centre and his birthplace. After a full day in Ayrshire, we return to Dunoon in time for our evening meal.

Day 7

Our final day of your tour scotland, we leave Dunoon behind and make our way to Edinburgh, stopping of at the famous town of Stirling (the gateway to the North) and if time permits we can visit Stirling Castle, before carrying on our journey to Edinburgh for our final overnight stay.

Day 8

After a hearty Scottish Breakfast you will make your way to the airport for your flight home.

On your tour of Scotland you may experience some Scottish Food.

During Your Tour Scotland vacation, you will be staying in quality hotels, and be provided with dinner, bed and breakfast every day, you are also provided with an eight seater Luxury people carrier, with your own personal driver/tour guide.
