Achilty Hotel is a small family owned and run hotel in the North Highlands of Scotland, dating back to around 1700 when it was originally a Drover's Inn. Situated only 17 miles North West of Inverness in the idyllic Scottish countryside, makes the hotel an ideal base for touring the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Taking in the beautiful scenery, wildlife and absorbing the historical points of interest. Whether you travel North, West, East or South all are reachable within a day and still giving you plenty of time to make it back in time for dinner. We are delighted to announce that we have recently been awarded a red rosette by the AA for our food

Facilities for guests include the lively bustle of the Grape & Grain Restaurant and Bar and the relaxed, but intimate Music Room Restaurant. We stock a very good range of famous malt whiskies. We do have 2 smoking rooms which must be pre-booked. The rest of the hotel is totally no-smoking. We also have two annexe rooms one of which has been fully converted with facilities for the disabled. Inside the hotel is completely negotiable by wheelchairs. The Wyvis Lounge is for our guests to relax in, where there are a selection of board games and books for your use during your visit
