The Pink Room is within the main keep. It overlooks the maze and Tweed valley beyond. This was originally Lord Traquair's room, and there is a charming painted panel above the fireplace. The bed is a ‘half tester' with canopy over the pillow. Along with a maximum of four other guests, you can make yourself at home in the Lower Drawing Room, in the ‘modern' (18 th century) wing - an elegant room with 19 th century French hand blocked wallpaper and furnished with antiques.
		The Blue Room is in the ‘modern' (18 th century) wing of the castle. The bed is a ‘half tester' with canopy over the pillow. All guests are given a tour of the house, have free access to the extensive grounds and will find a bottle of Traquair Ale (brewed on site) in their room to greet them. Breakfast is served in the ‘Still Room' in the main keep.
